In 1925, Pascual Bailac Sales founded our company with a small workshop for Repairing Tires in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Since then, BAILAC has been in the tire retread and repair business, acquiring know-how and evolving so as to attend to our customers more efficiently then ever.

In 1952, with a track record of 27 years in the business, BAILAC arrived in Chile and instantly became a pioneer in Tire Retreads in this country, specializing in tires for the mining industry.

By 1969, Bailac had become installed in Iquique with the first tire repair and retread plant poised to meet every need of mining companies such as Codelco Chuquicamata Division, Minera Exótica, Mantos Blancos, etc.

In 1988, so as to meet the growing demand from mining companies needing specialized services for their Giant Tires, Bailac immediately set about providing them with Tire Maintenance and Control as well as a Savings Advisory Service.
Now in its third generation as a Family-run Company, Bailac concentrates all of its efforts on saving its customers money, offering full tire services for the mining industry with the highest possible standards of safety and care.
